I've just received my Cye 4 days ago... IT'S SIMPLE AMAZING !!!!! :-) ---------------   E.F. 9/6/99     Greetings Henry:) Well, entering day three with Cye, I have to say that overall, I'm extremely impressed in the hardware and software design. The robot looks great and works nearly flawlessly. The wagon design is simply fantastic (I'm amazed at how well it works and how little it interferes with Cye's routines). The Zap program is simply a breeze to use (once you get the basics down) and the mapping software is a really ingenious method of controlling Cye. ... I want to tell you that any purchase doubts disappeared last night when my first successful Zap routine had Cye running food and dishes back and forth from the kitchen to my Lazyboy chair in the livingroom. It worked flawlessly. And when he'd finished running back and forth, the subroutine to return back to the Home Base kicked in and he roamed back to the office and docked for the night without so much as a peep. I was ecstatic... helping me get stuff moved around while I'm on these crutches is main reason I bought Cye (besides just being plain 'cool'). Cye, his wagon and all your software tools get an wholehearted thumbs up from this customer. ---------------------   J.L. 8/1/99     Just upgraded my Cye Software from the web, in a word wow! Lots of new things for me to experiment with. The addition of the "if nudged then (step 2) otherwise step 3" command was desperately needed. It now allows one to send Cye specific commands through nudge communications, I have expanded this in several of my programs to allow him to perform one of several programs without having to be near my computer through nudges or not nudges. I must say you have finally brought all of us hobbyists the true robot we have all waited for, and the continued support and new developments prove that your company and Cye are here to stay. Its navigation is unsurpassed by any other robot made, for some time I have tried to get nearly every robot made to navigate with some form of precision mostly the Hero's but never had the success one gets with Cye. I'm looking forward to purchasing future accessories, documentation and anything else pertaining to your brain child! ---------------------   S.B. 5/31/99     Cye arrived at 5:30 PM. By 7:30 he had learn his way around the living room and back to home base. I put him to bed at about 9:30 PM and he's got a path down though most of the house.. The ded-reckoning system is right on the money...With 3 check points he ran around the house for an hour and docked at home base on the second try...I am impressed... Well, I got to go I hear Cye calling me... I have been tinkering in robotics for a few years and have quite a few of them sitting around collecting dust. Though they have been great learning experiences for programming, sensors, and motion - they have all fell to the critical problem of navigation (IR beacon, sonar, compass). I search the Internet several times a month for help on navigation and happened on your robot. I received it today and in four hours, I have Cye completely navigating my basement! I have never seen such a thing. Congratulations - you really have a talent for navigation which no one else seems to have done well even with unlimited funds. ...
